Solliance Delivers Power Platform pilot workshop

November 2021

Solliance delivered its first ever LevelUP L200 virtual training workshop on Application Design with Power Platform to 134 participants within Microsoft in November. Created by Solliance Training and led by partners Ben Stegnik and Lino Tadros, the pilot workshop is a new training focused on digital application innovation and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) within Azure, with an emphasis on Microsoft Power Platform.

LevelUp is part of the technical skills initiative (TSI) within Microsoft that seeks to ensure employees expand their skills across different areas and L200 trainings are intended for beginner to intermediate level participants. The Solliance Training practice leverages Solliance’s network of experts to deliver training engagements grounded in real-world knowledge and practical advice.

This day-long training began with a morning introduction to digital application development with Power Platform and was followed-by an afternoon session where smaller teams were challenged to design solutions for a fictitious customer scenario.

“Our collaborative, hands-on approach to this training broke new ground because it tasked participants with actually building a proof of concept in Power Platform,” Joel Hulen, GM of Solliance Training said. “Overall, the feedback we received from participants and Microsoft was really positive and we are excited to deliver this workshop again in the future.”

“The active participation and engagement of attendees in the design exercise was so epic and fun,” said Lisa L., a Program Manager within Microsoft’s LevelUP Field Skilling Program. “A massive shout-out to Ben and his Solliance colleagues for building-out and leading the workshop and sharing their immeasurable knowledge and expertise.”
